A little "me" update

Dizziness still in evidence, along with headache, neckache and occasional nausea.

Went back to chiro who was concerned that the dizziness isn't better after the last treatment (had hoped it was due to my neck/jaw being wonky as). She said my neck is much better, but jaw still needed another go. After she had manipulated it, she looked at me and said my left pupil was blown. I said, doesn't surprise me, I don't think they have ever quite got back to "equal" with the left one always being bigger than the right. Cue one very concerned chiro! I told her I was seeing GP this evening as I have been nagged to death by everyone, and I haven't been made to feel like a hypochondriac by a GP for at least two years so I must be due a visit about now.

Went to GP and he said my pupils were normal - although he only looked at them in isolation. He said they reacted to light normally..... yes, but what if they aren't the same size in the first place???

He has given me vertigo meds and booked me for a CT scan. He thinks the vertigo meds should fix it as he believes it is coming from my neck, but felt I should have the scan as well.

I have actually been feeling worse the last few days, I wake up feeling ok (once the room has stabilised) and manage to do morning yards, but by lunchtime I'm fading fast with dizziness, headache and fatigue.

I rode Merlot yesterday and we went round a corner schooling a little earlier than I was intending and it just made me realise that there ain't much balance there at all at the mo, I could have easily kept going in straight line. Weird for someone who has always had pretty good balance. Good job I'm only riding my sensible boys and can slide off if necessary!

I just hope there is "something" fixable. The thought of having vertigo on and off now is not a good mix with riding is it. Driving in the dark is a virtual no-no as it is.

Fingers crossed!

Sounds really unpleasant - hope you can get it sorted. Not ideal for riding. x
